Tehuelche creek is the ideal place to do Trad climbing near El Chaltén, single pitch. Is located 100km from El Chaltén, at Estancia La Meseta. There are several routes on the 5.10 range (6a to 6c). It takes a 2hs drive to get there, but is a great alternative when the weather is not good enough to do rock climbing or alpine climbing at El Chaltén, since is much dryer.

You can develop your personal technique of “jamming” and learn or practice how to use the cams and friends. A full day rock will be 4-5 hs of climbing + 4 hs driving (round trip). You will need comfortable clothing, daypack, puffy jacket, waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunbloc, box lunch and water. Stay in shape and go crag climbing with us!
