We will depart early in the morning to El Pilar (15 km). Once there, we will head up the “Río Blanco” valley, through the climbers camp, and start the steep ascent to “Laguna de los Tres” (1200 meters or 4593 feet a/s/l).
Then, we will either go around or across the lagoon (depending on the conditions), to continue up the glacier with the skis, until the saddle between “Punta Velluda” and “Cerro Madsen” (at approximately 1800 meters or 5905 feet a/s/l)
After the ski descent, we will return back to El Pilar and then drive to El Chaltén. The activity takes about 12 hours, with a total elevation gain of 1200-1400 meters (4200-4593 feet).
