Itinerary

FULL DAY

We will drive early in the morning to “Mosquito” creek (20km), from there we´ll start the ascent trough the lenga forest. In about 1h we´ll reach the snow ( usually above the tree line ), and continue the ascent with the skis. There are different options on the ascent, depending on the weather and snow conditions, we can choose between climbing the main summit (1800m) or the “Mosquito” summit.
From either summit you can have great views of Fitz Roy in a clear day!

The vertical gain is 1200m, but most times is possible to do 2 or 3 descents of the upper section in one day.

Note:  The Itinerary can be modified and should be considered only as a guide. External factors such us the conditions of the snow or weather conditions could change the original plan, and your Guides will have the criteria to change the program if they consider is necessary.
